I’m currently on an Island 66 degrees north in the North Atlantic, just below the Arctic Circle, Iceland. I’m shooting stills for Kiteworld Magazine, Ozone have sent out there top rider Sigva Botnen to hang out and ride.

It never gets dark here which takes a bit of getting used to and the price of beer takes a lot of getting used to, this must be the most expensive place I’ve ever been.

I was surprised how little kitesurfers and Snowkiters there are in Iceland, very few have seen it and it’s not because of the weather. Kiting in a winter wet-suit is fine without any gloves or boots similar to the UK.

Get some top tips on booking your next trip to Iceland in Kiteworld Magazine, Issue 23.
